Our school council comprises a year group representative from each class.

This year we have helped roll out a link to Ecosia, which is a search engine that plants a tree every time it is used - this was to uphold our motto that, 'We have God's world in our hands and because we have an Eco-School Green Flag award. We are also supporting the Macmillan Cancer Research charity this year and The Big Help Out, with our work at East Lane beach which is walking distance from the school. 

We have also helped publicise and raised funds for events like sending exercise books to Uganda, and we have given the school lots of ideas about playtime equipment and games. Then we helped in auditing and choosing the books we needed for the library. Lately we also helped in asking questions of candidates who wish to teach at the school, and we shared our thoughts about them to Mrs Butler, Miss Mee and the Governors.
